Thousands celebrate Peru’s cuisine at Mistura

President Alan Garcia and Gaston Acurio were both present for the opening day of this year’s Mistura 2010. Through Sunday at Lima's Parque de la Exposicion, the food fair is bigger and bigger than ever.

  1. It is interesting to visit Mistura, because is a opportunity for know and enjoy variety dishes food, that maybe anywhere else in the wolrd themselves may eat. I surprised that there are 450 different varieties of native potatoes in Perú. Perú is a country very rich for his products and exciting for the palate of peruvian and foreing that can enjoyed of delicious typical dishes food and exotic foods from our peruvian cousine. I think that the price of 20 soles is expensive, the entry should be a symbolic price so that more people can have acces to enjoyed the wonderful dishes of our country. The next year i´ll go to Mistura, because the comments this year were very good.

    Two questions:
    -Wich was stand-out dish?
    -How many days did Mistura?

    Two sentenses:
    - The best food was stewed vegetables topped wich whole cooked lizard. (True)
    - A new addition this year were assorted freshly baked breads. (false)

    THANKS,

    LORENA

I DO NOT WENT MIXTURE, BUT MY PARENTS TOLD ME THAT WAS A VERY INTERESTING EVENT, BUT HAD NO TIME WITH MANY PEOPLE HAD TO EAT QUIET. THEY TOLD ME THAT WAS A VERY EVENT PROMOTED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND THAT WAS SUCCESSFUL, BECAUSE EVERYTHING SEEN IN PERUVIAN FOOD IS TRADICION.THEN FOR MY PARENTS TOLD ME THAT IT WAS NECESSARY TO THE CONTINUITY OF THESE EVENTS BUT LARGER PLACE AND THE PRICE IS CHEAPER BECAUSE GOING OUT WITH FAMILY REALLY EXPENSIVE.

MIXTURE COULD HAVE MANY IN A YEAR?
WHAT WOULD BE THE RIGHT PLACE?
