CALLING ALL VIKINGS! April is NORSE Month at Ancient Origins

norse-month
Prepare your longships and polish your swords (but don’t put on helmets with horns, that’s historically inaccurate) and get ready to go Viking! April is coming, and that means drinking in all that is ancient Norse – preferably from a horn cup!
On Ancient Origins, we will focus each month on a particular culture or civilization, sharing many articles and features on the theme. For those who can’t get enough of:
  • Almighty Thor,
  • Ragnarok,
  • famous (and infamous) Viking warriors,
  • trickster gods and powerful goddesses of the Norse pantheon,
  • mythological heroes and supernatural beings
  • practical ancient advice on how to keep the dead from rising
  • - we’ll cover it all, and more!
  • (And don’t forget – Ancient Origins Premium is a trove for the Viking lover.)
