Peru: The Birthplace of Civilization
Most of you have probably heard of "CARAL," one of the oldest civilizations in the world (and one of the "101 Reasons to be proud of Peru," the book readers from around the world have downloaded nearly 100,000 times). But you probably didn't know that some experts believe that "CARAL" might be the world's first civilization.
They might be right, they might be wrong, but without any doubt the discovery of "CARAL" not only surprised and changed people's minds - it changed our perception of history.
