Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day is an annual one-day holiday to give thanks at the close of the harvest season. In the United States, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourthThursday of November. Thanksgiving is traditionally celebrated with family, enjoying a meal often featuring turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and pumpkin pie. Thanksgiving is also a time to be thankful, remember and cherish all the things you have been blessed with.
While preparing some material on Thanksgiving to share with my colleagues, I came across a text on the rippling effects of thoughts that reinforced my ideas about what I call the multiplying effect of our lives. I would like to share this with you as well.
I strongly believe that each of us carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others, this is much more so if we are educators.
